Vote for Huntsville HS Player of the Week for Round 2

The Huntsville area is home to some of the best high school football players in the state of Alabama, and this week’s nominees for the Huntsville HS Player of the Week for Round 2 are no exception.

Blitz Clemons of Priceville High School ran for four touchdowns in a 70-42 loss to Brooks. Mason Holcomb of Pisgah High School passed for 176 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a score in a 66-38 win over Tanner. Cole Miles of Hartselle High School picked off two passes and blocked a field goal in a 22-15 loss to Gadsden City. Brandon Musch of Westminster Christian High School ran for 193 yards and three touchdowns and completed 9 of 20 passes for 111 yards and two TDs in a 39-35 win over Deshler. Braxton Peters of West Morgan High School threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score in a 35-14 win over Corner. Brandon Turner of Madison Academy High School recovered two fumbles, one of which came at the Mustangs 4-yard line with 18 seconds left in the game to preserve a 21-14 win over Mars Hill.

Voting is open until Wednesday morning, and the winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday. So be sure to vote for your favorite player and help him or her bring home the title of Huntsville HS Player of the Week for Round 2!
